VALLEY RIDGE
A client, with a long history of textiles, came to us with a full renovation. We took inspiration from her longstanding interest in textiles - which we woven into select spaces throughout the home.
In the primary bath we created a custom shower based on a quilt design. She requested a "touch of pink", her favorite color, which was brought in through the use of tile on the main shower wall. Heavily grained vanity oak cabinets gave the space a rustic feel and offset the white tile surround.
In the mudroom, darker cabinets played a role in hiding dirt, while custom textiles were incorporated again, inset into the custom cabinets. Lighter porcelain floors provide visual relief from the darker tones, providing a calming background and naturally hide limestone dirt from the Hill Country setting.
Overall, this renovation played on the quirky nature of the client, and we embraced it fully.
