SKYLINE
Nestled in the Hill Country, this home underwent a comprehensive interior renovation, beginning with a refined nod to the Arts and Crafts movement, infused with a thoughtful use of color.
The kitchen, inspired by soft teal hues contrasted with rich merlot cabinetry and suspended steel shelving, that subtly divides the space while providing an area for the client's cherished items. The tilework echoes the Arts and Crafts aesthetic with an understated mosaic pattern, and a custom copper sink provides a balanced counterpoint to the teal tile.
In the primary bath, a reconfigured layout optimizes proportions, allowing natural light to flood the interior. The vanity design leans towards a more contemporary style, accented by a textured tile mosaic over the maple base.
The guest bathrooms feature hand-glazed tiles with a delicate watercolor effect, complemented by natural limestone floors. Simple, timeless vanities contribute to the bathroom's enduring appeal.
Having shed its previous traditional style and awkwardly scaled colonial elements, the home now feels fresh and cohesive. Our design approach emphasized subtle patterns and textures, creating character throughout the home. These thoughtful touches reflect our clients' personalities and beautifully complement the architecture.
