BRIDLEWOOD
For this existing ranch home in Austin, Texas, we revitalized the kitchen and bathrooms, guided by the client's desire for a timeless and soft neutral palette.
The powder bath, recognized as Best Powder for 2024 by Austin Home Magazine, showcases our approach to maximizing even petite spaces. We emphasized its dimensions with low-relief sky blue tile and a hand-hammered brass sink. This thoughtful combination of contrasting materials brings the space to life through both color and texture.
In the kitchen, the existing alder cabinets were preserved and hand-glazed to achieve a softer tone. A simple yet elegant backsplash story was created using solid brass insets paired with creamy tile, offering a visual calm that is subtly punctuated by a brick-offset pattern. A custom pantry was also built to seamlessly complement the existing cabinetry.
Ultimately, the client's vision for neutral interiors, a soft palette, and enduring textures has been beautifully realized in this Austin ranch home.
