Inspired by Arts and Craft influence meets the Hill Country aesthetic, we started with architectural details throughout the home. Originally in the Colonial style, we removed Doric columns throughout and replaced with alder posts and lintels. White oak floors grace the home and provide a soothing backdrop. We went bold in the kitchen, with Bordeaux colored cabinets and mosaic tile, while suspended steel shelving add contrast and a touch of the Hill Country style. The master bath tile layout was inspired by Arts and Craft, playing with two shapes to create a unique design. A maple wood vanity helps to calm the eye and balance out the space. The home was filled with natural light, so bold statements of color and warm woods add interest and help create distinctive spaces.
