Scope: Renovation (kitchen and master)
Size: 2500 SF In Progress A home built in the 90’s by Lake Travis wasn’t suiting the homeowner’s needs. Awkward spaces weren’t being used and there was a disconnect from the main living area. The kitchen needed to be centralized, while providing more storage space and various work zones for a busy family. Natural light was the first item to incorporate, symmetrically placed on either side of the stove. A new walk in pantry and separate bar area served for much entertaining. The oversized island with a contemporary light fixture serves as the main feature in the kitchen. Materials of limestone, plaster, rough hewn wood and terra-cotta tiles give a causal, yet refined feel to the kitchen palette. |
